We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant with graphic design skills to support our marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will create engaging visual content that drives engagement, as well as supporting our social media and email marketing efforts to drive lead generation.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Marketing Manager to implement a variety of engaging marketing campaigns.
- Design on-brand creative content for a variety of uses: including social media, marketing emails, events, webinars, video, white papers, eBooks and other projects specified by the Marketing Manager.
- Take ownership of eCom’s social media channels - currently LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube - developing content as well as creating assets including images and videos etc. and engaging with our audience through thoughtful interactions
- Working with the marketing manager, create content for marketing emails, as well as implementing your designs, and coordinating signoff
- Taking a proactive approach, present ideas to all relevant stakeholders, as well as providing advice/guidance on the aesthetic for campaigns, projects, and promotional events.
- Take ideas from concept to execution, working with Marketing Manager, Sales, Design, Dev team, and others as necessary.
- Create engaging digital content that increases engagement from prospects and enhances the organisation’s brand.
- Create strong visual content to drive traffic to the organisation’s website, continually review success and make changes as needed to maximise visitor numbers
- Regularly review marketing collateral, suggest areas for improvement, and work to implement these, liaising with the Marketing Manager to monitor impact.
- Ensure brand guidelines are up to date at all times, and champion their implementation across the organisation.
- Ensure that all designs are visually consistent and in alignment with the brand guidelines/image, and, where relevant, meet usability and website standards
Candidate requirements
- A passion for marketing with the confidence to bring ideas to the table.
- Proven, relevant digital design experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe XD to name a few and a willingness to learn new apps as and when necessary) and knowledge of MS office skills.
- Experience using content management systems, e.g. Umbraco
- Knowledge of CRM systems, for example HubSpot.
- Previous experience of social media marketing in a B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or relevant experience.
- A high degree of creativity and a demonstrable ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
- Strong collaborative approach to workload is essential. The ideal candidate will work well with other people across the organisation and be able to take (and give) constructive criticism during peer reviews.
- Capable of taking initiative
- Strong communication skills: capable explaining rationale of decisions to colleagues.
- High attention to detail.
